Our production plant has been designing and manufacturing various types of lifting jacks and scissor table lifts for over 20 years. During this period, we have developed skills and acquired knowledge that has enabled us to take the lead in the sector of crane devices. We conduct research works and take advantage of the recent technical solutions whilst at the same time adapting them for the purposes of our designs. Because of this, Columbus Mckinnon’s offer is continually extended to include new models of lifts with increasingly wider functionality. Design
Thanks to our wide experience, modern tools and extensive knowledge of our engineers, Columbus Mckinnon products are ideally suited to the customer’s needs as early as at the design stage. This guarantees that the ordered device will perform well in the specific applications for which it has been designed. As one of few European manufacturers we have our own specialist software, which enables us to verify models very quickly, when taking all kinematic and mechanical interdependencies into account. The calculations are based on product standard PN EN 1570 +A2, with which the devices produced by us fully comply. In our work we take advantage of the most recent design environment, such as SolidWorks or specialist applications for scissor lift tables. Our experience combined with modern technology allows us to meet the expectations of our customers.

Production
The production process in our production plant in Plewiska conforms to the highest European standards. We rely on as broad as possible scope of works performed in our headquarters. From careful selection of materials, through their processing, the work of welders certified by the Office of Technical Inspection, to final assembly – we fully control the entire production process. Our structures are solid and reliable because of the wide experience of our engineers. All the products of Columbus Mckinnon Polska Sp. z o.o. meet the requirements of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and are marked with a “CE” symbol. We are able to manufacture platform lifts and jacks with lifting heights of up to 6 m and load capacities of up to 25 t.

Resarch and tests
Safety is our priority. Columbus Mckinnon hydraulic lifts and table lifts meet the highest standards also in this respect. Each of our devices undergoes extensive type testing, taking into account risk analysis according to EN 1050 and the guidelines of the PN EN 1570+A2 product standard. The tests not only cover the scope of specifications, shop drawings, electrical and hydraulic system drawings, but also strength calculations and product documentation.

Installation
Columbus Mckinnon crane devices are installed by the top specialists with many years of installation experience. The installation is based on decisions agreed upon by both parties and is completed quickly, efficiently and without any problems at the customer’s location. We explain and consider location conditions as early as at the offer preparation stage.
The most common installation option is the placement of the lift on a foundation based on the foundation layout plan supplied by the customer. Our technical service staff also verify installation assumptions directly at the Customer’s premises by checking minimum distances, control system location or access to the lift’s power supply, etc. In order to ensure an efficient and professional installation, prior to the installation, we check that the installation assumptions are met using a pre-installation survey.

We accompany our customers from the design stage until our products are accepted by the Office of Technical Inspection. This ensures problem-free registration by the Office of Technical Inspection and spares our customers completion of unnecessary formalities. This solution enables the customers to start using the lifts and table lifts delivered by us as soon as possible.
